Hey world, Quinn Strassel here. I know it’s been a while, but, you know, I’ve been busy. Really, I mean, I like you a lot, but I just needed some space. It’s not you world, it’s me.
Anyway, I’m back and I’ve got a blog.
Not that I should get too excited. I mean, who doesn’t have a blog these days?
But I’m pretty confident mine will be pretty much the best one out there by the end of the year. In addition to providing provocative commentary on independent music and videos, I’ll employ three time honored blogging techniques to crush the competition.
1. Use excessive amounts of chat room abbreviations and acronyms: “Did U C last nitez BSG episode? WTF? IMHO, the writers need 2 RTFM. I DGARA ABT Helo. IJWTK ABT the final 5. 4COL! TTYL, Q.”
2. Embed links into every sentence. Even if they don’t have anything to do with what I’m writing about.
And when all else fails:
3. Mention Britney’s hair on a daily basis.
Ahh yes. I can already feel the comments rolling in.
