As you may already know, we’re shaking things up a bit here at OurStage. We’ve discontinued the SMS Text Message Voting part of the contest last month. And for August, the contest is broken into 4 stages. They are:
1. Regular judging: starts on the first day of the month until the last seven days of the month.
2. Quarter-finals: the Top 20 entries in every channel are locked in and judging continues on just these twenty items.
3. Semi-finals: on the 5th day of final week, the Top 20 entries are cut down to the Top 10. Judging continues on just the Top 10 items to determine which one of those is the best in the channel.
4. Finals: (the two Grand Prize winners are decided in this round).
