As day one kicked off we got a call from our biggest fan, Shinny & his girlfriend Cara. In true VIP style we picked up Tim and Cara and brought them into the Bonnaroo grounds VIA a private entrance – saving them the four hour lines that everyone else waited in.

Once we got to the grounds we helped our fans find a camp site, put up their tent & get settled in.

After we did a little Q&A at the campsite it was time to head into the festival and start the day!! We started by heading over to the Scratch.com DJ booth and redeeming Shinny’s private DJ lessons. They learned some of the basics of DJ-ism, from the ‘Baby Scratch’ to the ‘Transformer.’ With an old brother who DJs, we had big expectations from Shinny … but our girl Cara came correct and knocked it out of the park with the most complex scratch, the transformer.

After that we all walked around a little and then met at the tent at 8:00pm to get ready for the first big show of the night, MGMT. We popped a bottle of bubbly in the tent with our neighbors from Paste Magazine & kicked off the night VIP style. Then the whole crew headed over to see the show – here’s some pics.
