All it took was a guitar, a Macbook and a little bit of heart and 17 year old Christofer Drew went from small town boy to internet sensation – almost overnight. Masquerading as NeverShoutNever! (or NSN!), Chris kept it simple. He had a good voice, he wrote catchy songs, and he made sure to maintain an online connection with his fans. In less than a year NSN! went from a relatively unknown project to the #1 unsigned artist on MySpace.com – some of his songs currently receiving over 50,000 online plays a day!

Artists like Colby Caillat, Lily Allen and even OurStage’s own Plushgun all found an audience on the internet. Being able to prove their marketability based on fans, friends & song plays gave them a serious advantage when stepping into the ring with labels and management companies. In the last year Christofer has turned down 6 major label offers because he prefers the DIY approach. NSN! represents a new generation of artists that don’t need the help of a small army to make a living through their music. By leveraging grass roots promotion avenues like emerging artist showcases thru Platform 1 and online music discovery sites like OurStage.com, Chris has been able to remain in complete control of his music and his image.
