Hip Hop Habit: Club Hop Playlist

For any of you who’ve been reading this column on a regular basis, today’s post might seem like a bit of a wild card. That’s because it is. Club hop, party rap, whatever you want to call it, is rarely featured in Hip Hop Habit for the simple reason there’s not much to say about it past the beat. The rhymes are usually redundant and the messages blatantly clear, but that doesn’t mean rap of this sort doesn’t hold any importance.
