Boston Bands, Want To Share the Stage with Anberlin & Mayday Parade?

This spring the Journeys Backyard BBQ is once again touring North America and serving up the sickest athletes in action sports alongside killer headlining bands such as Anberlin and Mayday Parade. To make the Boston stop even tastier, Converse is partnering with OurStage to rock the Converse “Battle of the Bands”. Local bands will compete online then duke it out live at the North Shore Shopping Mall on May 29, 2010.

Judges from Journeys and Converse will select 2 finalists from the Top 20 ranked artists on the Converse Battle of the Bands Music Channel. Artists entries should fall into one or more of the following genres: alternative rock, indie rock, modern rock, indie pop, pop, hard rock and punk.
