My Chemical Romance Unleash 'Conventional Weapons'

posted in: Music NewsRock

My Chemical Romance are known for being chameleons of the modern rock scene. In the early 200’s, the band went from playing dingy clubs in New Jersey to donning military jackets in Pink Floyd-esque stadium shows known as The Black Parade. But before the release of their latest album, 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys, MCR had recorded a very different batch of material, one that harkened back to the early days, and their aggressive punk rock roots.

The band will be releasing two of these tracks, collectively called Conventional Weapons, each month for five months. Listen to the first two songs, “Boy Division” and “Tomorrow’s Money,” below and pre-order the 7″ vinyls of all the songs here.
