Khloé Kardashian ‘X Factor’ Debut; How Did She Do?

Since the announcement of Khloé Kardashian Odom and Mario Lopez as co-hosts of The X Factor, the anticipation toward their live show debut has been building. Wednesday night, the wait was finally over as we watched Lopez breeze through the show, with Odom awkwardly stumbling through. Check out more details after the jump.
Though Simon Cowell had indicated Odom would be up for a challenge, with less rehearsal time than anticipated and little to no live hosting experience, he assured audiences that she wanted to prove a point. After Wednesday’s display of screaming her lines into the mic, awkwardly referring to Simon Cowell as Mr. Sexy, having a bit of a wardrobe malfunction, and making awkward small talk with contestants, she definitely proved a point; though we’re not sure it was the one she was hoping for.
One of the more awkward conversations came when Lopez teased a 13-year old contestant, Diamond White about having a boyfriend. White replied No, we’re friends. My mom would kill me.
Odom, quick to jump in said, Don’t let your mom kill you. To White’s credit, she did elicit a rather puzzled smile.
Among the rest of the night’s highlights were a smooth live presence by judge Britney Spears, and a foul mouthed slip up by Cowell, which Fox quickly cut out.
