One Direction Reportedly Working On New Music

Being a boy band must be tough these days. Not only do you need to sing and dance at the same time while thousands of girls scream your name, but you also have to find new ways to stay relevant in a time where nothing seems to stay popular for longer than a few weeks (if that).

Of all those attempting to win that war of trending topics, no group of clean-cut gents did it better in 2012 than One Direction. They toured the world, spent time interacting with fans every chance they could, and along the way found time to record and release two full length albums (not to mention filming their forthcoming 3D movie). Now it seems the boys in 1D are at it again, as Take Me Home producer Julian Bunetta has told MTV he was back in the studio with the group within the last month.

I was just with them last week in London ” hanging out, working on a few new things, he told MTV News. So that’ll be fun.

Bunetta was not as talkative when it came to discussing when the material would be available. He continued, I can’t really say, but it’s gonna be pretty cool. I mean it’s just¦ I mean obviously we’re working on new music but they didn’t say what the new music is for. It might be for nothing. It might only be for my ears¦ or, it might be something that gets put out for the world to hear. I could just rent my ears out.

We’ll update when more information becomes available. Until then, click below to watch the trailer for 1D3D.
