Pete Wentz Blogs About Fall Out Boy's Recent Activity

The return of Fall Out Boy has caused celebration and complaints across the blogosphere. If you’re not over the moon with excitement for their comeback you’re probably on the side of the fence that preferred them on hiatus. Either way is fine, but it’s becoming increasingly clear they are not going back to obscurity anytime soon.

Keeping fans in the loop on their activities, bassist Pete Wentz has blogged about everything going on in the world of FOB since their return became official at the end of January. It’s a short piece, but it covers a lot. You can read his thoughts below:

this few months has been a bit of a blur. as i take off from auckland for narita- new zealand traded for japan. i am reminded of past lives and the history of my heart. it remains to be seen how this all turns out-we are either on a mercurial mission to the moon or we are on the titanic. as a whole, as a gang, we wouldn’t have it any other way. it still feels strange traveling so far away in their world and having people sing along, wait in line, let us know that its all worth somethingĀ¦ that all of the headaches, mildewed clothes and homesickness are traded for something that means just a little more- a barter that will be spoken of fondly many years from now. only none will remember just how much more we got for how little we had to give. thank you for that. OZ and new zealand were even more true and amazing than we had remembered. now on a plane to japan we can only feel like luck and love is on our side. can’t wait to get back to you in america. hopefully you saw that the u.s. tour has been announced in the fallĀ¦ we can’t wait. thank you for waiting for us.

Fall Out Boy will release their new album, Save Rock And Roll, later this month. Click here to learn about their Fall tour plans.
