Relient K Announce Touring Lineup Changes

posted in: Music News

Christian pop rockers Relient K have made a startling announcement ahead of their upcoming Spring/Summer trek. According to a new update from the band, three members of Relient K will be sitting out their upcoming run, with as-of-yet unannounced replacements filling in their spots. This is not a permanent change, at least as far as we know, but it is one few saw coming. You can read the band’s original message below:

“To all the amazing fans of RK:

It is with sadness that we write you to say that we will not be touring with Relient K on the upcoming tour dates. This will be the first tour that the Jo(h)n’s have missed in over eight years, and the first that Ethan has missed since he joined the band in 2008. We will miss seeing you all on the road this year, and we want to thank you for always being there for us. Hope to see you soon.

John Warne, Jon Schneck, Ethan Luck.”

As we mentioned above, no replacements for John, Jon, or Ethan have been confirmed at this time. That said, Zac Farro (Half Noise, Ex-Paramore) recently played drums with the band in Australia.

We’ll bring you more as it becomes available.
