Transit Release "Young New England" Video

Boston pop-rock outfit Transit have released the video for their latest single, “Young New England.”

An ode to their hometown, “Young New England” is the third single of Transit’s album by the same name. The chorus ushers in the song with a chant about how Boston never drinks alone, and, as the verses kick in, vocalist Joe Boynton begins recounting his memories as a drunken twenty-something stumbling through the city’s historic streets. This sentiment is mirrored in the video, which finds the group strolling through famous tourist destinations around Boston joined by what looks like hundreds of their closest friends. You can view the video below.

Transit found themselves deflecting criticism earlier this year when their new album hit shelves devoid of the pop punk sound that had given the band their start. Now that several months have passed it seems fans have finally come around to the group’s evolved sound, and in my opinion this is one of their best singles to date.
