Unsound: A New Documentary About The Music Business

The producers of Unsound: How Musicians and Creators Survive in the Age of Free, an upcoming documentary about the current state of the music industry, have released a rough trailer.

“Since 1999, music sales in the U.S. have dropped 53%,” reads one title card; an unfortunate but not altogether shocking statistic. The film appears to follow a handful of case studies to illustrate the near-impossible situation faced by artists trying to make their way in a new digital economy.
