If you’ve been on OurStage before, even for just a minute, then you’ve probably come across Leah Randazzo. She’s clearly a fan favorite, with four #1 finishes and a Grand Prize to her name. Her band, The Leah Randazzo Group, is a gang of seven – vocals, guitar, bass, drums, and horns – that combine for one critically acclaimed sound:
At their most boisterous – as on the brash “My Weapon” – the band’s songs are highly danceable and colored with punchy horn lines. At their most sensitive as on the piano and string-laced Morning Song – they blow the work of Starbucks divas like Norah Jones out of the water.
