Katie Cole’s New Single, “Time On My Hands”

Katie Cole has released the single “Time On My Hands,” heralding the upcoming release of two EPs. The first, Things That Break, Part 1” will come out on September 28th, while the follow up is expected in early 2019.

The Nashville artist is currently on tour as part of the Smashing Pumpkins (she has performed with the band as far back as 2015), and has kept fans satisfied between official released with a series of covers and solo video performances, both from home and the road. The same rich voice and spare arrangements that make those small bites so savory are amplified in the close and intimate production (by Howard Willing) of “Time On My Hands.” Listen:

Hannah Thomas Launches Kickstarter

Hannah Thomas Described by Amy Ray of the Indigo Girls as having “the soul of old country [but a] die hard rocker with some punk thrown in the mix,” Georgia-based Hannah Thomas isn’t afraid to play around with genres. Having released her latest album over a year ago, Thomas has been busy traveling the country, playing shows, and writing new material” but in order to help that last one come to fruition, she’ll need your help. Thomas has launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund her latest album, and is seeking $10,500. Though the album title is still in the works, she hopes to record the album in late spring/early summer for a fall release. Paper Bird Announce West Coast Tour

Paper BirdDespite their name, there’s something absolutely grounding about Paper Bird‘s music. Their sound is easygoing and direct, with a folksy vibe that only a banjo and harmonica can create. And with seven members, one can imagine that touring is no easy task, making it all the more exciting when this Colorado band hits the road. Luckily for those of you on the West Coast, Paper Bird will be in your neck of the woods in no time, with dates in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho this March 18th-23rd with support from The Americans and Head For The Hills.
