Flying Machines at an industry showcase in
Austin this March!
Those who judge will have the chance to win some amazing prizes! The fan who’s named best predictor with the highest predictor score of either contest channel will win the grand prize two day trip to Austin, Texas to attend the “Get Out Of The Garage” Concert event!

Last year, Converse and Journeys launched the official “Get Out of the Garage Music Contest”. Out of pool of 4,000 entries by independent artists, Flying Machines emerged the grand prize winner. The band won an all-expense-paid, five-day studio session at Sear Sound in NYC, with GRAMMY award winning producer, Mickey Petralia. Since winning last year’s contest, the band has signed with EMI and have been keeping busy by playing numerous music festivals and showcases.
This year Converse and Journeys are teaming up with Guitar Center and OurStage to give artists another chance to “Get Out of the Garage”. This time around the contest is even bigger and better as the sponsors are selecting TWO grand-prize-winners to perform with Flying Machines in Austin in March. Submit your best original song into either the “Converse Get Out of the Garage” Rock or Urban Contest Channels before November 22nd for a chance to win an opening slot at a venue that is a hot bed for the music industry.
