IFFB Films on Katrina

Will Arnett @ IFFBoston

It was perhaps the most surreal moment of my life.  I’m interviewing GOB from Arrested Development: amazing.  In the middle of the interview, a New Kid on the Block runs in and tackles him: phenomenal.

To add to the ridiculousness of the evening, Andy, Matt and I were seated in a press row for the world premiere screening of On Broadway.  ONE ROW IN FRONT of Mr. Arnett, Joey Mac (as Arnett calls him) and the rest of the cast.  The entire screening we heard the actors whispering and laughing at inside jokes.  At the end of the film, the entire audience rose for a standing ovation.  We stood, turned and literally shook hands with the actors receiving the ovation.

Truly an unforgettable night.

Joey,

If you’re reading this, please know that I am still your #1 fan. Go…NKOTB!

Check out Ourstage @ the Independent Film Festival of Boston (http://www.iffboston.org/) Jivin and high fivin our way through the night. We’ve got interviews with directors and stars (Eliza Dushku, Joseph McIntyre, Will Arnett, Dave Mclaughlin).  And if you ever had the deep desire to hear the EJ’s make inappropriate comments about twisting balloon animals … well, here’s your chance ;)
