The lineup for the 2014 Bonnaroo Club Stage has been announced and it looks like a pretty stellar bill. Our very own friends Bronze Radio Return will be there, which alone should be enough to steer you away from the main stage for a bit. But add to that a number of emerging favorites, including Skinny Lister, who dropped by our studios last year for an exclusive session, and our hometown heroes Speedy Ortiz and, well, you might do well to consider how you’re going to divide your time, festival-goer.
It’s Thursday morning, and you know what that means. Fuse TV has recently announced the third batch of Warped Tour additions, including Saves The Day, The Ghost Inside, Beartooth, I The Mighty, and OurStage artists A Skylit Drive. The tour runs from mid-June to early August this year, taking with it fan favorites such as Mayday Parade, Attila, Air Dubai, and Stray From The Path. Summer festival season is fast approaching, and before that happens comes the annual storm of press releases, promotional widgets, trending topics, reveal games, and similar activities. Hopscotch Festival, an annual event taking place in Raleigh, skipped all the shenanigans this year and decided to be straightforward with their lineup reveal. Sometimes when you have something good, you don’t need any gimmicks to prove your point.
Topping the massive lineup for Hopscotch 2013 this year is Georgia native Big Boi and UK rock act Spiritualized. The vast expanse of music subgenres between these two acts do no go unnoticed at Hopsotch either, as well smaller-yet-notable sets from as Local Natives, Earl Sweatshirt, Majical Cloudz, Waxahatchee, and Action Bronson. Christian pop rockers Relient K have made a startling announcement ahead of their upcoming Spring/Summer trek. According to a new update from the band, three members of Relient K will be sitting out their upcoming run, with as-of-yet unannounced replacements filling in their spots. This is not a permanent change, at least as far as we know, but it is one few saw coming. You can read the band’s original message below:

Taking place over the course of two weekends in September, Rock In Rio is one the most notable celebrations of music in South America. This year’s lineup will be headlined by Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, and Bruce Springsteen, but that is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to talent appearing at the festival. Aside from those headliners, Rock In Rio will welcome the likes of Alicia Keys, Florence and the Machine, Phillip Phillips, Kimbra and David Guetta, as well as rock acts like Avenged Sevenfold, Ghost B.C., Bon Jovi, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Muse, and Slayer.

Warped Tour is without a doubt the most recognizable touring festival, but unless you have been living under a rock the better part of the last decade you should be quite familiar with the Rockstar Mayhem Festival. Featuring 2-3 stages, this touring festival offers the latest and greatest hard rock and metal acts currently working, and 2013 will be no different.
For the latest installment of Mayhem, the main stage will be rocked each and every night by Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch, Mastodon, and Amon Amarth. It’s a notably heavier collection of bands than last year’s main stage, but it’s also a grouping that will work well together.
As for the day stages of Mayhem, the bands chosen to perform this year represent the best sampling of heavy music offered on this run to date. Today the organizers behind Bonnaroo 2013 decided to try something new with their announcement, and opted to stream a live lineup event hosted by Weird Al (seriously). When all was said and done, dozens of notable acts had been named for the festival, including a headline performance from Sir Paul McCartney. Just days after the New York Post hinted at a potential tour, Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z have been announced as the headliners of the 2013 Wireless Festival. The event takes place at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London on 12th and 13th July.
