The crowd enjoying the show at the MilkBoy Main Stage

This week, we’re putting the spotlight on MilkBoy Main Stage at MilkBoy Coffee in Ardmore, PA. Located 15 minutes outside of Philadelphia, MilkBoy Coffee is a combination all-ages venue/coffee shop hosting original local talent and international touring bands. Boston indie heroes Jim’s Big Ego have graced the MilkBoy Main Stage, as have OurStage faves Viv Peyrat and Bojibian. Artists interested in recording their live show for a fair price can make use of the venue’s full Pro Tools setup and HD video recording capabilities. Check out some performances and audio recorded at the venue here.

Featuring lyrics that are both contemplative and conversational, Takka Takka, was able to transcend the space, which was less than ideal. The fact that they were able to stay together and harmonize vocals without monitors, speaks volumes about their musicianship and skill. More pictures after the jump.
