The Paw Tracks Showcase was at Le Poisson Rouge, a great room with a great atmosphere. I wanted to like Excepter, I really did but it seemed like the band was trying so hard to be art house that they forgot to practice. Maybe I just don’t understand it? Because the audience seemed to be digging it, but I couldn’t force myself to stay. I really wanted to see Dent May and His Magnificent Ukulele, but needed to head to the Takka Takka showcase so if anyone saw it post in the comment section and let me know how it went.
