Think Before You Ink, Chris Brown…

Dressing room trashing at Good Morning America. Nude photo scandal. Fighting with Drake at a nightclub. Chris Brown is hardly a thoughtful decision maker, but we still have to question: What would drive him to get an image of a battered woman tattooed on his neck?

Of course, the first thought that comes to mind is his ex-girlfriend/musical collaborator/former physical abuse victim, RihannaAccording to Perez Hilton, sources close to Brown claim the tattoo is simply of a “random woman,” but we can’t deny the eerie resemblance to RiRi. Is Breezy actually dumb enough to get her bruised face immortalized on his skin forever? Based on his track record, probably. CB has yet to comment on the tattoo himself, but did retweet a link to Perez’s story, which suggests that the image is of Rihanna.

Oddly enough, it’s taken over a week for this story to break, as TMZ reports that the ink was fresh on September 1st. Rihanna made headlines yesterday for her own tattoo, an under-chest image that she says is dedicated to her grandmother.

Jay-Z’s 40/40 club shut down for health code violations

After a $10 million renovation, Jay-Z’s 40/40 club in Manhattan reopened to great fanfare last Wednesday, only to be shut down the next day by the Health Department. The New York Post reported this week on all the violations, and it’s enough to make your stomach turn. Rancid raw chicken wings and raw shrimp, mashed potatoes left out on the counter, and a worker mixing salsa with his bare hands. Probably after riding the subway. Ruin your breakfast by reading about it here.

Chris Cornell had some choice words about the people responsible for the scheduling gaffe, which you can read here. Or, check out West’s performance of All of the Lights to remind yourself why we put up with him in the first place.
