In celebration of the upcoming SXSW festival, Vans have announced a special reissue of some of their most popular band shoe designs, including Rise Against, Bad Brains, Circle Jerks, and Motorhead II. The shoes will be released at the Vans Village lot of SXSW at noon each day, beginning March 12th. Only 50 pairs will be available, with 100 additional pairs available at the company’s website the following day.
First up will be Circle Jerks on March 12th, featuring the cover of Group Sex. Vans is currently working to make that a completely vegan shoe. Next up is the Motorhead II design on March 13th, followed by Bad Brains on March 14th, and Rise Against’s design featuring their Appeal to Reason cover on March 15th. Like Circle Jerks, the shoe will be completely vegan.
You can check out the designs below, and get yours at the corner of 7th and Red River at this year’s SXSW. Can’t make it out this year? You can grab your new kicks the day after their festival debut here.

If you ask us, Vanna is having a pretty great year. In addition to being added to the 2014 Vans Warped Tour, the Boston natives have just signed with Pure Noise Records, and will be releasing their label debut this June. Speaking about the signing, Vanna said, “The entire idea of making music is to be able to share your passion your frustrations your problems with as many people as possible, that’s always been our goal as a band. In saying that we always strive to work with people who feel the same way we do. Pure Noise Records is about that exactly. After co-releasing The Few and The Far Between on vinyl last year and seeing what the record label is all about, we as a band felt that Pure Noise would be a good home for our future and a step in the direction that we wanted to take. We are honored to join the Pure Noise Records roster, full of amazing bands that are just killing it. We look forward to the future, as our musical family grows larger. Thank you for listening. I believe in you if you believe in me.”
