HAPPY MAY DAY IN THE UK… AGAIN!

Oi!  May Day might have been May first, but the real celebration is going on today. It’s one of this year’s bank holidays in the UK.  Streets will be closed, fairs will be down at the local park, and concession stands will be opened throughout the town celebrating the occasion.  However, nothing’s quite the same as heading down to the pub and listening to some local bands!

Maybe I can’t paint the best picture of the UK myself, but I can assure you, I’ve picked two awesome bands to feature for the holiday.  So whether you’re celebrating a holiday or not, check out these great artists!

Open your ears to the refreshing sounds of Pocket Satellite. This class act has it all covered; beautiful yet unique vocals and a tight groove.  Their song “We Chased Soldiers” has reached as high as 21st at the end of the month with a steady and consistent climb towards the top.

With a different sound we have the energetic rockers of Me Vs Hero.  As they put it, “Me Vs Hero will grab you by the b*lls and throw you around the dam room!!”  I don’t think there’s too much of an explanation needed after that!  Grab your ale, and let’s rock out!
