RUSTIE BLUE NOMINATED FOR ECMA AWARD

OurStage alum, Rustie Blue, has just been nominated as “Female Artist of the Year” by the European Country Music Association (ECMA). This nomination marks Blue’s second ECMA nod”her first for 2005’s “Chip Chip,” the award-winning “Vocal Collaboration of the Year” with Whisperin’ Bill Anderson.
The ECMA Awards are voted on by ECMA members and reporters covering Europe’s country music scene for the year prior to the award show. Rustie Blue’s latest single, One Hot Summer Ago was a Number 1 hit in Europe this past February, prompting this second nod. She is nominated amongst international Country greats Taylor Swift, Pam Tillis and Dani Leigh.
Rustie Blue’s OurStage triumphs include two Top 100 rankings. Her European singles were not entered in competition but they are posted on her page for listeners to enjoy. Check out her fan club and remember to keep up with her ECMA award nomination!
