April Is Here And It's Time To Shred

Are you a master of the six string? Do you walk on stage, guitar in hand, ready to dominate the club with all that is loud and rock ‘n’ roll? We may just have the perfect competition channel for you. April is International Guitar Month, so in celebration OurStage is opening up a competition exclusively for the fastest shredders on the web. Introducing the OurStage Shred Or Alive  Song Competition” – an exclusive opportunity for guitar players from all walks of rock to prove that the next generation of guitar icons has arrived.

A handful of lucky artists will be selected from the channel by the OurStage editors to be included in a playlist that will be offered to the OurStage community as a free download. That means a whole lot of free exposure for you, and a whole lot of shredtastic tunes for the fans. So turn your amps up to eleven, and enter your biggest face-melting track into the OurStage Shred Or Alive Song Competition” by April 22, 2011 for your claim to fame. Remember, all tracks MUST feature a prominent guitar solo. The competition is open to all artists that fall under the hard rock, punk, metal, soft rock, alternative, funk, southern rock, modern rock, rock and indie rock genres.
