Indie Rock, Good Times and Bowling…What's Not To Love?

Imagine a massive, high-energy tournament at your local Lucky Strike bowling alley complete with the best local indie bands on stage rocking the night away. That’s just the kind of party that Rock-N-BowlA is looking to throw, and all for the benefit of The Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. Their mission: raise some serious cash for a seriously good cause. The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson’s disease and improving therapies for those living with Parkinson’s today.
The folks at Rock-N-BowlA and Team Fox are joining forces with OurStage to create a veritable tour-de-force of good times and great music, all for an incredible cause. The Rock-N-BowlA Competition, hosted by OurStage is giving thirty three Phase One finalists, the top three artists from each of eleven regional competition channels, a chance to strut their stuff at a Rock-N-BowlA tour stop in a city near them, not to mention exposure to music critics, media, gift packages and more! In April, all artists in the Los Angeles, Bellevue, Phoenix and Denver regions will compete for the spotlight, with more cities to be announced in May and June. When the fundraising tour wraps in June, the band with the highest number of fans displayed in their official OurStage Fan Club, will be deemed the Grand Prize Winner. The Grand Prize? Oh, just an all expenses paid trip to Turks & Caicos for the band to perform at GOBeachfest, hosting Olympian volleyball players and hundreds of guests. No big deal for your average rock star.
If you live near one of the above cities, and this sounds like your kind of throwdown, enter your best original indie rock song into your regional competition channel by April 22, 2011. ALL artists MUST be twenty-one years of age or older to enter. It’s a win-win scenario, people. You can rock out, boost your music career AND help raise money for a great cause at the same time!
