GuacaMusic: The Plastics Revolution

If you love Mexican music but aren’t into mariachi or rancheras, then we suggest you try some Mexican indie pop by The Plastics Revolution, a band from Mexico City that has been getting rave reviews from OurStage fans.
Anyone familiar with the Mexican indie music scene knows that when a band plays at venues like Pasaguero and the Bulldog Café, they are off to a good start. Such is the case of The Plastics. They got together in 2008 and started playing at the it places, growing their fan base every time they got on stage.
The Plastics released their first single So They Wait in September of 2008. The song was played in various local radio stations and by 2009, they were already recording a second single titled “Ahora Somos Parte. Soon after that, they were recording their first independent album.
By 2011, The Plastics were already a staple in many radio stations in Mexico City. They have grown an important fan base, and are working on releasing a new album this year.
