The Gregory Brothers Redefine The Meaning Of "Going H.A.M."

It’s been far too long since The Gregory Brothers have made a hit song out of a YouTube video. Luckily, the wait is over.

It all started when YouTube user Daym Drops made a hilarious seven-minute video reviewing his trip to a Five Guys Burger and Fries. Using their autotune “songify” magic, The Gregory Brothers created “OH MY DAYUM,” a R.Kelly-esque ode to the fast food joint. In the songified version, Daym “sings,”: “This is how bacon is supposed to be/The fries, they blend so perfectly/The cheese up in here is going H.A.M./Dayum, dayum, DAYUM!” We have a feeling we’ll be singing these lyrics on our lunch hour for quite some time.

The Brothers are perhaps best known for 2010’s “Bed Intruder,” a song made from a news clip of a man named Antoine Dodson describing how he fended off his sister’s potential rapist. The video has over 100 million views and even landed Dodson a “performance” during the BET Awards. Something tells us “OH MY DAYUM” will follow in “Bed Intruder”‘s meme-a-licious footsteps.
