Chelsea Grin have built a reputation on breakdowns and growls that put any metal act to shame, but it’s the progression found on their 2012 EP Evolve that launched them into the music stratosphere. Finding the perfect balance of the “bree bree” roots and a more mainstream-leaning sound, the latest offerings from CG have proven catchier than the majority of music released by their entire genre.
