Rick Ross Needs "100 Black Coffins" For 'Django Unchained'

Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained may very well be for most anticipated film of the holiday season. Opening on Christmas Day, the violent throwback to Westerns follows a recently freed slave (Jamie Foxx) who joins forces with a bounty hunter to kill bad guys (ie white guys) across the prairie. The film looks incredible, and from what we’ve heard the soundtrack will be no different.

Earlier this week, MMG mastermind Rick Ross revealed he had recorded a song specifically for Django. This may seem business as usual for film and music, but it actually marks a distinct moment of change for Tarantino’s career. This is the first time the <emPulp Fiction filmmaker has ever sought out original music for his films, and it’s far from whom most would likely expect.
