Electropolis: Computer Clicks Turned Dance Floor Hits – Simple Samples Fresh From the Net

No bull, this song is a bangin’ club hit. Known for their combination of “traditional” dubstep and glitch, Eddie K & Statix are putting themselves on the map as two of London’s finest. Despite their old-school styles, they’ve found a big audience by synthesizing a killer track that has remained in various top rankings and received an exceptional response for months. Co-producer Astronaut, although previously a little-known name, is a fresh new DJ gaining some major publicity for this track. But the success of “Anymore” is surely due in large part to Katie Sky and her amazingly clean-cut vocals”at least that’s what really got me groovin’.

Hailing from California, Carly-D, Jillian Ann and LabRat are an EDM (electronic dance music) team to be reckoned with. Intensely catchy vocals and incredibly well-modernized hybrid of grime, glitch and dubstep makes “Beauty and the Bass” a must-own for any fans of these genres.

Finally! Feed Me’s new album Escape From Electric Mountain is out and available. Generally speaking, it’s an awesome house album. However, some tunes sound very similar to his colleagues on Mau5Trap. “One Click Headshot” is quite similar to Skrillex, but the samples are well-placed. “Relocation” undeniably takes a cue from Deadmau5”it’s almost as if he was co-producing the track. Personally, the pure originality of “Trichitillomania” makes it my favorite of this collection.
