Chief Keef Releases "First Day Out" Video

We teased the return of Chief Keef last week, and now the official video for “First Day Out” has arrived online.

Serving as the first single to be released following his incarceration at the beginning of the year, “First Day Out” captures exactly what the title suggests. The clip opens with Keef’s release from prison, moves to highlights from his journey through the streets of Chicago, and mixes everything together with well edited performance footage from around the young rapper’s home. The track isn’t worth writing home about, but longtime fans will surely be happy to see the MC free once more. You can view “First Day Out” at the end of this post.

If you ask me, Keef’s problem at this point is his refusal to grow. The same effects and content that got him signed is what he continues to use as a crutch now over a year into his major label career.
