Jay-Z Returns To Music With "Open Letter'

Legendary hip hop artist Jay-Z has never been far from the spotlight in his two-decade career in the music industry, but over the last year or so the man who gave us Reasonable Doubt has taken a step back from the mic to focus on other projects. It seems, however, that those time have come to an end.

In a post that went live on Life+Times in the last day, Jay-Z makes his official return to music with a new Swizz Beatz produced track entitled “Open Letter.” In it, Jay opens up to fans about a plethora of things going on in his life as of late, including his controversial trip to Cuba and ongoing efforts to record a new album. While good intentions do give us those warm fuzzies we love, Jay-Z’s release history tells us not to expect anything until it has a confirmed release date. We’ll keep an eye out for additional details regarding his new album and let you know as soon as something more concrete turns up.
