Scale The Summit Debut "Odyssey"

Over the last few weeks you may have noticed a few small changes in the way the OS Magazine runs. For starters, we’ve been covering way more news than before, and more often than not that news revolves around the world of pop/rock. This is all great, of course, but I want to make sure those of you who love other genres know we still care about you as well. Our writers love every style of music and we hope that comes across in our efforts. If you see something you think would be good to feature on here, let us know! Email jshotwell@ourstage.com with any tips you have and we’ll do our best to add them to the feed.

The latest single from instrumental metal outfit Scale The Summit has been released in all its guitar-shredding glory. Taken from the group’s forthcoming album The Migration, “Odyssey” wastes no time reminding you why Scale The Summit are such a prevalent force in instrumental music with swirling guitars and a melody that seems fit to lead an army into war. You can prepare for battle at the end of this post.

It’s hard to know what will develop when an instrumental band hits the studio, especially when they have the legacy that follows Scale The Summit, but if “Odyssey” is any sign of what lies ahead I think their fans will find it hard to complain. The Migration arrives June 11.
