Earl Sweatshirt Performs New Song Featuring RZA at MayFest 2013

Odd Future member Earl Sweatshirt has been building hype for his forthcoming album since November, and in recent weeks things have been hitting peak levels. Now video has surfaced online showing the young rapper debuting new material featuring a hip-hop legend, and we have the footage to share with you.

While performing at MayFest 2013 over the weekend, Earl Sweatshirt surprised audience members by debuting a new song featuring Wu-Tang member the RZA. The live cut featured RZA on the hook, but it’s hard to believe that he won’t have a full verse on Doris when it arrives in stores later this year. Click here to view the performance.

Unfortunately, Earl Sweatshirt has yet to give any indication of when Doris will arrive in stores. Our hope is before the end of summer, but it could really be anytime between now and whenever the lab monkeys break out and begin taking over the planet. Hopefully it happens before then, of course, and we’ll let you know as soon as a date is set.
