Miley Cyrus Debuts "We Can't Stop"

After a short time out of the direct spotlight, Miley Cyrus has returned to the music world ready to claim her place at the top of the charts with a new sound and attitude.

“We Can’t Stop” found its way online yesterday within minutes of premiering on Ryan Seacrest‘s Los Angeles morning radio show. The single features production from hip hop favorite Mike Will Made It, which adds a thick urban spin to Cyrus’ still pristine pop croon. You can stream “We Can’t Stop” at the end of this post.

Forgetting for a second that a big chorus with an overly simplistic set of verses is the exact structure for “Party In The USA” as it is for “We Can’t Stop,” Miley’s latest something to marvel. The music is just different enough to paint her in a new light, but still familiar enough to work with longtime followers. Will those same fans also go along with Miley’s seeming infatuation with drug culture, which is is a predominant lyrical topic throughout the track? Comment below and let us know your thoughts.
