Jay-Z Announces ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’ Album

Monday is off to a big start news wise as legendary rapper Jay-Z has announced plans to release a new album entitled, Magna Carta Holy Grail.

Set for limited release July 4 (we’ll explain in a second), Magna Carta Holy Grail is an album that no one expected but seemingly everyone cannot wait to have. Jay-Z has not hinted at new music beyond a single open letter track back in April, but as the video below shows there has certainly been more going on behind the scenes. So about that street date….

As part of a promotional stunt, which probably cost the company in question millions, Jay-Z will release his album to Samsung Galaxy owners 3 days before the general public on July 4. There will be a limited number of downloads available, so anyone interested in receiving an early copy is encouraged to act fast.
