Westboro Baptist Church To Protest Attila Show At The Band's Request

The ever-controversial Westboro Baptist Church, known best for their “God Hates Fags” signs and generally being assholes, have announced plans to picket an upcoming performance by Attila following a mention from the band in one of their new songs.

Attila’s new album, About That Life, arrived in stores this week. The record is full of debauchery and partying, but the song everyone can’t stop talking about is entitled, “The Callout.” In the track, vocalist Fronz calls out a number of industry notables for their various wrongdoings, then ends the song by mentioning WBC with the line “Hey Westboro Baptist, fuck you too! Come and protest this dick, faggots.”

After being made aware of the record, the Westboro Baptist Church took to Twitter to announce plans to picket Vans Warped Tour on July 23 in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Attila’s frontmnan responded, “YESSSSS, WESTBORO BAPTIST CHURCH IS REALLY COMING TO A SHOW TO PROTEST MY DICK!

Those attending the Bonner Spring stop of Warped need not worry about WBC being on the premises. Warped founder Kevin Lyman has informed concertgoers the group will be forced to remain outside festival gates.
