KYLE Releases And Streams Debut Album

California rapper KYLE has released his long-awaited debut album, Beautiful Loser, and his marketing plan is second-to-none.

Piracy is everywhere these days, and fight as we might it’s more than likely not going anywhere anytime soon. Some artists have learned to work with this problem, offering free music up front and hoping people will show support in time, but today Kyle is changing the game and trying something a bit different.

Early this morning, Kyle uploaded his debut album Beautiful Loser onto SoundCloud as a stream. And while he included links to buy the album from a number of digital retailers, the 20-something emcee also set the stream to include unlimited free downloads. He’s clearly hoping you will love the album enough to show support in the form of financial contributions, but, more importantly, he wants fans to hear his music, and understands that not everyone is able to buy music 24/7.
