Katy Perry Releases "Roar" Video

Twerk-free since day one, Katy Perry has released the official video for “Roar” just in time to remind people what great pop music is all about.

“Roar” opens with a plane crash on an island. Perry and her self-absorbed boyfriend survive, but in the hours that follow face peril they never expected as they attempt to explore the forest around them.

All of a sudden, Perry is alone, and is doesn’t take long to realize she may be stuck in this strange place forever. She could very easily give in and let nature defeat her, but she stands strong in the face of near certain death and thrives. She roars, if you will.
