If you love bands like Of Monsters & Men, Mumford & Sons, and Bon Iver, you’re going to love this week’s featured artist, Kory Murphy. Originally from the American midwest, Murphy has traveled all over the world in an effort to both strengthen and promote his music. With rootsy, neo-folk tinges, his recordings use simple and classic instrumentation, with guitar and keyboard offset by harmonica and occasionally forays into various unconventional forms of percussion.
