"She's Not Gone Yet But She's Leaving" – The Fratellis' New Video

I didn’t expect to hear too much from The Fratellis after they made a little racket stateside with a catchy song in a heavily-aired Apple iCommercial. The album was good, if not groundbreaking, but they kind of slipped off the radar after that.
Well, there I am driving along recently, scanning the radio, as all the hip kids are doing these days, and I hear a song that compels me to risk the lives of dozens of people by firing up the Shazam. Lo and behold, it’s the new Fratellis single, and it’s really good. Again, they’re not reinventing anything, but they have truly mastered the art of groovy, retro-sounding garage rock.
As if I needed additional evidence, this morning in my inbox is the brand new video for another single, “She’s Not Gone Yet But She’s Leaving,” from their album We Need Medicine. It’s really a glorified lyric video, but very well done and a nice showcase for this sugar-coated cigarette of a song. Check it:
