Soul Searching: MAKKi & The Soulful Minds

There are so many talented R&B and soul artists in the world. This week’s highlighted artist deserves the spotlight thanks to her soulful voice and natural ability to engage the listener with both sweet vibrato and impressive runs. OurStage artist MAKKi clearly has the vocal chops to make it big along and the image to back it all up, so it’s hard to believe this artist is only 18 years old!

MAKKi doesn’t work alone however. After meeting the singer in her hometown of Bloomingburg Illinois, producer, writer and musician Mario Toney (AKA Souful Minds) recognized her talent and started working with her immediately. This dynamic duo, known as MAKKi & The Soulful Minds have consciously held themselves to a standard of creating only fantastic tracks. It appears they’ve been successful thus far.
