Needle in the Haystack: Year End Review

Needle in the Haystack (often times referred to as NITH around the office) is an editorial selection that grants one talented artist a week of promotion on both OurStage.com and MTVMusic.com. As 2010 comes to a close, it’s obvious this has been an awesome year for our needles! There is so much talent on OurStage, so it’s always tough to decide who will earn this honor. The process takes weeks, moving through numerous hands before the final winners are selected.
Are you interested in being selected as a Needle in the Haystack winner? The best way to be chosen for this award is by consistently participating in our monthly and promotional competitions. A lot of our winners are discovered on the Best of the Best charts, which the OurStage staff frequents. Another important piece to the selection process is your OurStage account. Make sure your bio contains all of your accomplishments and most recent and relevant information. Also be sure that you have your best videos and pictures uploaded as well.
