GuacaMusic: Cuatro Segundos

Four seconds. That is all it takes to know if you will like someone, and that is exactly the time it took us to fall in love with Mexican band Cuatro Segundos.

In fact, it seems that it takes even less than that for this Mexican band to impress fans on MTV DEMO, the new music platform powered by OurStage.com and geared especially towards Latin American artists and fans. Cuatro Segundos (which means  four seconds in Spanish) is among the top ranking bands on this new platform.

Perhaps the most amazing thing about Cuatro Segundos is the fact that the band has only been performing for over a year. Ever since lead vocalist Jose Luis decided to start this process in 2010, Cuatro Segundos has been gaining followers at the speed of light. By 2011, the band had already recorded their first EP.

We especially like Cuatro Segundos’ piece Mundo Artificial, a funky love song that you won’t be able to get out of your head. Another favorite is Cada Vez, an inviting piece with a more indie rock style.
