How Is This News? Kanye's Mystery Blonde

Headlines exploded last week, not because Kanye West still hasn’t given fans an update on his collaborative album with Jay-Z (Watch The Throne), but because he was spotted kissing a mystery blonde while attending the Cannes Film Festival. Are you kidding? Kanye is one of the best selling artists of all time and therefore needs no excuse and definitely no headline for kissing a mystery blonde in France. If anything, we should be asking him why only one because with all that power you’d assume he could handle more than a single admirer simultaneously.

How about the press stop looking for gossip fodder and start asking artists about their art? Following the release of “H.A.M.” in January and multiple push backs on the release schedule, West’s joint album with Jay-Z, Watch The Throne, still hasn’t been released. Fans were told March, but it’s now May and no additional material or press releases have been delivered. Rumors are still flying that the album will be released soon, thank in part to Jay-Z’s new haircut (a sign he’s finished recording), but apparently everyone was too busy trying watching Yeezy lock lips in Cannes to be journalists, I mean, ask questions.
