New York’s Lana Del Rey, born Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, began her career under the moniker Lizzy Grant. The singer-songwriter later changed her name to Lana Del Ray for the release of her single Video Games, which became an instant success. Her latest album Born To Die was released early this year with mixed reviews from critics and fans alike.

Tonight, Jack White will be performing in the popular livestreamed series American Express Unstaged. White, best known for fronting The White Stripes and The Raconteurs, recently released his debut solo album Blunderbuss to high praise from critics and fans alike.
The live stream will begin at 6PM eastern standard time, but will be rebroadcast for twelve hours after the show on Jack White’s VEVO page. Fans will be able to submit questions to the musician beforehand, as well as participate in a digital art installation that allows them to submit photos for a mosaic. Gary Oldman will be directing the program, which takes place at Webster Hall in New York City.
After recently announcing that they would reunite for their 2012 Unity Tour, the Jacksons have revealed that they are now planning to record a new studio album- the first since their 1989 record 2300 Jackson Street.
“That’s what we gotta do — right after the tour,” says Jackie Jackson. “We’re gonna go back into the studio and start recording some new music.” Together with his brothers Tito, Marlon and Jermaine, the group plans to travel across America this summer to perform their greatest hits, as well as pay tribute to their late brother Michael Jackson. As for the new album, Jackie says he wishes to stay true to the old Jackson 5 sound, with a little bit of a modern twist. “We’re gonna keep it simple¦ We can’t shy away from our sound.”
