Pop/folk rock band Buckeye Knoll has been gearing up to release their brand new music video for “Luck Be A Lady”, and figured what better way than to share it than with the OurStage community? The San Francisco Bay Area, CA group’s video will make its online debut today at noon right on the OurStage Facebook page. After a red carpet walk and big screen premiere at the local Cameo Theater in St. Helena in November, Buckeye Knoll is “thrilled to team up with Ourstage.com for the online release of the official ‘Luck Be A Lady’ music video.”

Shot by the up-and-coming Bay Area production team at Motion Vibes Productions, the video was made with a shoestring budget and a whole lot of heart.  Filmed on location at the ranch in the Napa Valley where lead singer Doug Streblow grew up, the music video features the stunning scenery of an 1800’s carriage house-turned-performing arts-center called The White Barn as well as the surrounding property

The music video is based on everything a day on the ranch includes: community, fun, adventure and music”the very essence of Buckeye Knoll the band. It just so happens that Buckeye Knoll, which now features Streblow on guitar and vocals, Ruben Rios on drums and Graham Rolak on bass, recorded their debut album in the very same White Barn where the music video was filmed this past October. Band-less at the time of recording, Streblow and best friend and engineer Cian Riordan shacked up in the second story of the White Barn and invited more than 2 dozen friends and musicians to come help make the record. When they weren’t making music, the rotating cast of musicians and friends took hikes into the nearby hills and explored all that the ranch had to offer, soaking up the beauty of the place and translating those adventures into themes that run throughout People and Place and the music video. Recreating the communal experience of sharing music at the ranch and White Barn are the heart of the music video”with a little extra theatrical flair added for fun.

The music video for “Luck Be A Lady” officially drops at noon EST today on the OurStage Facebook page and will stream on YouTube, Vimeo and Buckeye Knoll’s Web site in early 2011.
