Lorde's "Royals" Plus Sad Clown Equals Quality

Internet conquerors Postmodern Jukebox, a collective of musicians dedicated to cross-genre inventiveness, win again with their version of Lorde‘s monster hit “Royals” – this one featuring Puddles, a sad clown with “a voice like Tom Jones.” It’s fantastic. And there’s the added benefit of listening to the song without having a weird teenager glowering sexily at you while playing with her hair. Personally, we buy the song’s message more coming from a disaffected 7-foot tall clown.
