Explosions In The Sky Debut "Join Me On My Avalanche"

Post-rock pioneers Explosions In The Sky have released a stream of their new single, “Join Me On My Avalanche.” Featuring David Wingo, the song is the first to surface off the upcoming soundtrack to David Gordon Green‘s new film, Prince Avalanche.

As with any Explosions In The Sky offering, “Join Me On My Avalanche” is a record better experienced than explained. The depth of emotion EITS are able to channel in their music never ceases to amaze, and this effort is no different. You can stream the single on Soundcloud.

Aside from Join Me on My Avalanche and Wading, a short teaser track that was released late last month, these two Austin-based acts have also hashed out an additional 13 tracks for the film, due out August 9. You can catch the entire track listing below.
